Manchester Cathedral is a beautiful place to visit. Full of history and activity. It is a part of the Manchester story that surprises many visitors. With a choir whose foundation dates back hundreds of years and the mysterious Angel Stone to see, a visit is a must. From August to October the cathedral is a hive of activity, with open days, exhibitions and concerts. Our Heritage Open Days take place on 11 Sept 11am-3pm,12 Sept 2-4pm.
