We wanted to present a resource to viewers to easily filter between categories, directors, platforms, genres, etc. So, we built this website. It doesn’t contain every video we have produced, because there are too many, some of which are derivatives of others. The goal we set was to have a resource we could use more easily than on YouTube or any other platform, to start a conversation about what direction you might like to go.

The last 10 years have been the busiest with digital technology making film production so much simpler. The possibility of an idea forming, being shaped, visualised, made, viewed and published sometimes in under an hour – and on the other side of the World, being watched, making waves, bringing brands to people – it’s simply awesome!

Our company is Digital Blanket and the work extends before 2016 when we were formed to past incarnations of various members of the team. We launched Pocket Manchester and worked on About Manchester (which we left due to a greedy, devious editor)! We launched the retail TV programme for Halifax Bank and Bank of Scotland. We upgraded the satellite network and managed the broadcast airtime and infrastructure at HBOS. We’ve worked for Adidas, Astra Zeneca, Pfizer, the BBC and more. Much of this early work is subject to copyright or limited audiences and it’s not sitting on here, sadly. However, some can be seen in person and almost all the last decade of work is public-facing – YAY!

We have editorial principles which reflect the palette of today’s consumer. With an avalanche of digital advertising bombarding users, we believe in bite-sized pieces which tell the story, deliver the brand and message and educate the viewers over several films. We don’t want to boost videos on repeat to be ignored. Our goal is to make your brand relevant, different from the pack, interesting and desired. You don’t need to pay a fortune when there’s a marketing campaign which looks to tap into organic networks to engage and enthuse. You don’t get something for nothing, so we always want to deliver something special to your audience. We want them to see your brand, stop and enjoy the film. When they see you, they anticipate quality.
